Cities stoke the fire of Andrew’s passions, owed to a childhood spent bouncing between drizzly Seattle and historic Detroit. A Boisean since 2007, Andrew considers the City of Trees his second home. In his early career as a journalist he has covered politics, including the Idaho Legislature, as well as the arts and economic and community development. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Community and Regional Planning at Boise State University, with a focus on working to develop sustainable, vibrant, livable cities. His studies include regular writing for The Blue Review, a University publication housed in the new School of Public Service. Andrew is an avid traveler, Yellowstone National Park devotee, lover of Indian food and (almost always) travels by bike.
