Erin McClure moved to Boise with her family from Columbus, Georgia in 2012. After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2005 with a French language degree, she taught French, Latin, English grammar, public speaking, creative writing, and ran her own photography business for 6 years before moving to Idaho for a fresh start. She now works as a writing and design consultant with her company, EM Dash Creative Media, and is an independent contributor for Boise State Public Radio. . She is an avid coffee drinker, voracious reader, and obsessive reality TV-watcher, who is also writing a memoir of her time living in Paris, France working as an au pair. On the weekends, Erin can easily be found browsing the Saturday farmer’s markets with her husband and two young children, pumping iron at the downtown YMCA, or hiking the foothills with her dog Harrison Ford.
