A Career For Compassion: Blue Cross of Idaho is Hiring
During the first quarter of 2018, Blue Cross of Idaho plans to hire approximately 130 new employees in healthcare-related roles that will work with individuals to help them navigate the healthcare system.
Of the 1.5 million individuals living in Idaho, approximately 22,000 are considered dual-eligible beneficiaries, meaning they are eligible to receive help with medical care through both Medicare and Medicaid benefit programs. Blue Cross of Idaho is employing care coordinators to work directly with these individuals to ensure they understand what their healthcare plan entails, help coordinate care with doctors and make sure people are receiving quality, cost-effective medical care. This includes working closely with other entities that may be involved in a member’s care management such as primary care providers, social service agencies, family medicine and community resources.
The new coordinated care roles will be based in Blue Cross of Idaho’s headquarters in Meridian, with about half of the roles going out to work face-to-face with members throughout the Boise Metro.
Blue Cross of Idaho is looking to the talented individuals in the Boise Metro and throughout the state to hire Care Coordinators, Clinical Care Coordinators, Care Coordination Specialists, Clinical Oversight Specialists and Clinical Education Specialists. The open positions offer competitive pay, good benefits and eligibility for corporate incentives. For more information and to view the open positions, visit www.bcidaho.com/careers.
