Alaska Airlines Announces Daily Nonstop Flights to Spokane

Alaska Airlines President & CEO Brad Tilden announced during the Boise Chamber of Commerce's CEO Speaker Series that Alaska Airlines will begin daily nonstop service between Boise and Spokane beginning August 24, 2015.

Alaska's nonstop service will operate twice daily, with both morning and afternoon departures. The flight will be operated by Horizon Air for Alaska Airlines using a 76-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft.

The business connections they create will make the Boise Airport an even bigger economic and job creation engine for our community", said Boise Mayor David H. Bieter. "This investment by Alaska Airlines adds to the growing string of developments that are making 2015 the most exciting time for Boise since I became mayor 11 years ago."

Alaska Airlines now offers nonstop service from Boise to Lewiston, Portland, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Jose, Seattle and Spokane. This is the third new route that the Boise Airport has announced for 2015.

Along with Alaska's new nonstop service to Spokane; Delta will begin nonstop service to Seattle in May and Allegiant will begin nonstop service to Los Angeles in June.
