State & Lemp: A Case Study in Dining Innovation

Boise increasingly gets accolades for its uniqueness. The combination of outdoor adventure with urban amenities has left countless visitors pleasantly surprised. One point of distinction seems to come from Boise’s outgoing demeanor. When people visit, they often remark on the city’s friendliness. Something about the Treasure Valley community gives a warm, neighborly impression to outsiders (who quickly feel like insiders). And for a pair of local restaurant entrepreneurs, Boise’s inviting atmosphere is the perfect backdrop for the innovative, communal dining experience they are creating.

Introducing Remi Mcmanus and Jay Henry’s State & Lemp: an unexpectedly social, modern dining experience that brings the quality of fine dining without the stuffiness of white tablecloths. From the eclectic interior design to the locally sourced ingredients, all of the restaurant’s elements are all executed tastefully. But perhaps more notably, State & Lemp sets the stage for new friendships to form in a natural, organic way.
